Keep the creator’s source close at hand
Use the creator’s game page for play and the current Windows download route. It opens in a new tab. This fan guide explains those routes and related tasks; it does not host the original client.
The creator links a Discord community. Read its rules before seeking help. For a reproducible game issue, include the exact error, device and browser context rather than posting only a screenshot of a blank screen.
Use the full guide when you need a procedure
For access, use Play or the Windows download guide. For a launch failure, use loading and WebGPU help.
For a new session, use How to Play followed by the beginners guide. Before changing browser data or importing progress, read the save backup guide.
What the check date means
The creator’s page and current launcher, loading and browser-save source were checked on October 27, 2026. The check date describes those source checks; it does not claim a successful Windows install, a tested phone session or a completed playthrough.
The answers below separate what those sources establish from outcomes that depend on your device, the active client or a save-transfer test.
Common questions
Is this the official Azeroth Survivors website?
This is an independent fan guide. The creator’s game page is wow.aethus.pl. Our About page explains this guide’s role.
Where can I play the original browser game?
Open wow.aethus.pl directly in its own tab. The creator’s launcher blocks third-party frames. Use our play page for the original link and a first-launch checklist.
Where is the Windows download?
Follow the Windows link on the creator’s game page. It pointed to a RAR archive when checked. Our download guide explains the source and preparation; the package itself has not been run by this guide.
Why does the browser game mention WebGPU?
The current launcher checks for the WebGPU API and a usable graphics adapter before starting. Browser API support alone does not prove the game will run. Match your exact warning in loading help.
Does a busy notice prove how many people are online?
No. The launcher can show a busy notice for HTTP 429, which denotes rate limiting rather than an exact player count. Follow any wait instruction and avoid rapid refreshes.
What is the latest game version?
The browser menu observed on October 27, 2026 displayed v0.122.0 (508416ff). That identifies the observed client, not a guarantee about the latest release or the contents of the Windows package. Check your own client or the creator’s announcements.
Can I play on iPhone, Android, Mac, Linux or Steam Deck?
This guide has not completed device tests for those platforms. A browser feature or a touch-related code path does not establish full game compatibility. Check the creator’s current page and the result on your device; do not treat the Windows archive as a native package for another platform.
Can I back up browser progress?
The current browser save code provides .sav export and a .sav/.txt import picker. Export before making changes and verify the downloaded file. The save guide explains the documented route and replacement precautions.
Do browser and Windows saves automatically sync?
Automatic synchronization and browser-to-Windows interchange have not been verified. Preserve source and destination backups; a browser file interface alone does not establish a lossless transfer.
Which class or build is strongest?
This guide has not established a current comparison under matching test conditions. Use the choices and descriptions shown in your client. The beginners guide helps you compare your own attempts without inventing a ranking.
Does the build planner import my game save or calculate DPS?
The manual build planner stores choices and notes that you enter. It does not read game saves, apply a build, verify talent legality or simulate damage.
Are these guides based on tested runs?
The beginners guide records a short original-browser Human Warrior run through Level 3, including W starting the timer and 2 selecting the first upgrade. The how-to and save pages also include observed menu steps. No boss result, zone clear, save restoration or strongest-build comparison is claimed.
Sources & check notes
Sources reviewed on October 27, 2026. A source review is distinct from a successful gameplay or device test.
- Azeroth Survivors — creator's game page (opens in a new tab)
What this source establishes
Current HTML read on 2026-10-27. It links the Windows RAR and Discord and loads rogue.js with stamp e06ce49391fe. The page includes a WebGPU warning. Reading the page is not a successful gameplay or device compatibility test.
- Creator's current browser launcher (opens in a new tab)
What this source establishes
Read as static text, without running the client. Confirms third-party frame rejection; WebGPU API, adapter and lost-device checks; current browser guidance; sound activation on user input; saves.js import; and the documented Options → Saves → Import Save path. The query stamp is an asset cache identifier, not a semantic game version. No control bindings, run outcome or Windows save compatibility were established.
- Creator's browser save-file bridge (opens in a new tab)
What this source establishes
Current static source exports a timestamped .sav file and permits .sav/.txt in the import file picker. Comments describe client validation and confirmation before replacing the account. The bridge alone does not prove that any particular file will be accepted, that every detail survives a transfer, or that Windows and browser saves are interchangeable. No import was performed.
- Windows archive linked by the creator (opens in a new tab)
What this source establishes
The creator's current HTML links this URL. A headers-only request returned HTTP 200, application/x-rar-compressed and Content-Length 754921096 at 2026-10-27T22:29:29Z. The archive was not downloaded, opened, scanned or executed. Package version, contents, executable name, prerequisites, minimum requirements and save location remain unverified. Prefer the creator's home page for the maintained download route.
- Discord community linked by the creator (opens in a new tab)
What this source establishes
This exact invitation is present in the creator's current HTML. No server was joined, messages sent, channel names checked or support response promised.
- RFC 6585, section 4 — HTTP 429 (opens in a new tab)
What this source establishes
Primary technical standard: 429 denotes request rate limiting, and a response may include Retry-After. The code does not identify an exact concurrent player count or establish the cause of a particular game outage.
- Original browser client — menu, saves and first-upgrade observation (opens in a new tab)
What this source establishes
Original browser client observed on 2026-10-27; the menu displayed v0.122.0 (508416ff). Test record: original-web-2026-10-27-warrior-first-choice. Human Warrior was selected and Enter Elwynn Forest was clicked. The loaded zone showed Move to begin, timer 00:00 and a 03:00 next-boss marker. One W press started the timer; no attack input was sent and a kill-counter increase was observed. At 00:08, Level 2 offered Battle Shout, Whirlwind and Bloodrage, with six spell slots, one occupied, a 2/6 new-spell indication and Reroll 3. Pressing 2 selected Whirlwind; the next observation at 00:14 showed Level 3 and its icon in the second slot. These were the offers and timings in this one short run, not guaranteed rolls, progression timing or a build comparison. A single Escape press did not open a pause menu. Other movement and shortcut keys were read from the menu or Key Bindings, not separately exercised. Saves UI showed Export Save, Import Save, the hourly/latest-five backup description and an all-progress replacement warning. Export displayed its success message, but no disk file was retrieved or inspected. No import, restoration, hourly backup creation, boss encounter, zone clear, mobile or Windows session was tested.
